The first stage of creating a common gas market in the Eurasian Economic Union should be completed by the end of the year. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held in an expanded format. The formation of common energy markets in the EAEU, coupled with non-discriminatory approaches to pricing, tariffs, access to the services of natural monopolies, is considered the most important task in creating a functional economic union. The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held on December 4 in Moscow.
