The Belarus agricultural industry is increasing its production potential and expanding the geography of exports. In the Oval Hall of Parliament, the government outlined the principal goals for the agricultural industry. Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Subbotin presented a relevant report to the MPs of both houses. As reported, the export of agricultural products has almost doubled over 10 years, and continues increasing this year. By the end of 2021, it is to amount to at least $6 billion. Commenting on the issue of extending state regulation of prices for socially significant goods, Aleksandr Subbotin noted that Resolution No. 100 is likely to remain in place. But the list of socially important goods may be reduced. The next possible step is to move to targeted assistance.
