Team Europe defeated Team USA in light athletics match

The intercontinental light athletics match ended with the Team Europe winning. After two competition days in 37 sports, our continent scored 724.5. The American athletes  got 601.5 scores. In total, over 300 sportspeople took part in the event. 14 Belarusians were a part of the winning team. The match made Belarusian high jumper Maxim Nedasekau world season leader. He made a personal record – 2 meters 35 centimeters. Anastasia Mironchi-Ivanova also brought maximum 9 scores to the European team by long-jumping at 6 meters 74 centimeters. The event may bring Belarus' capital Minsk closer to the European championship of 2024.
