Youth Marathon 75 welcomed in Ostrovets

Marathon 75 continues its way across Belarus. Today its participants were welcomed in Ostrovets. A solemn meeting was held at the monument to the liberators. Residents of the town laid flowers and honored the memory of the dead with a minute of silence. After the ceremony a mobile thematic exposition "Liberation of Belarus" was opened and a laboratory for collecting information about the veterans of the Great Patriotic War began its work. 900 photos from all over the country will be compiled in the republican album "Belarus Remembers. Dear Faces of Victory". The next point of the marathon is Molodechno. The journey will end on July 3. The national album of memory will be presented in Minsk.
