New Belarusian flax varieties

Dubrovno flax-farmers have completed the construction of a new storage facility. Annually the largest flax fiber company in the country processes 12 thousand tons of raw materials. At the same time, the former available storage facilities could contain no more than 8 thousand tons. The rest of the flax fiber was protected from the weather under a tarp. The new warehouse was built at the expense of own capital and credit resources. Flax is cultivated in an area of over 2000 hectares. This year, Belarusian crop breeders have introduced two new flax varieties.
