Ministry of Natural Resources has drafted new subprogram on subsurface resources survey and mineral sector development

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has drafted a new subprogram to survey subsurface resources as part of the government program on environmental protection and sustainable use of natural resources in 2021-2025. The subprogram focuses on regional studies, provision of existing enterprises with raw materials, import substitution, survey and commercialization of new kinds of mineral resources. So far more than 10 thousand deposits have been registered in Belarus, including those prepared for development and under development, containing 33 types of minerals.
