Belarusian economists celebrating professional holiday today

Today Belarus marks the day of the economist. The day was established by presidential decree twenty years ago. Now thousands of employees of the banking sector, financial departments at enterprises, and teachers of educational institutions whose profile is economic science are working in this area. With every year the prestige of the profession increases. Today, degrees in economy and finances can be obtained at more than 20 universities and colleges of the country. The most popular qualifications are crisis manager, auditor, engineer economist and manager in foreign economic operations.
