The National Olympic Committee honored today the winners of the I European Games in Baku. Our country was represented at the prestigious competition by about 150 athletes who won 43 medals. Today, athletes received 6 thousand dollars for a gold medal at the European games, three thousand dollars for silver and 2,000 dollars for bronze. According to vice president of NOC Maxim Rizhenkov, our country received the proposal to host the next games.
