The President of Belarus held a meeting on combating illicit drug trafficking. Due to systemic measures taken by the state, our country has managed to reverse the situation with the spread of psychotropics. Positive results were achieved by toughening the responsibility for manufacture and distribution of drugs, by combating illegal poppy cultivation. However, the work in this direction shall be continued. The spread of drugs is a disaster not only for an individual or a family, but also for the society as a whole, the head of state says.
