May 5 is the Day of Printed Media

Belarus celebrates the Day of Printed Media. The best newspapers and magazines are exhibited at the 21st international exhibition Mass Media in Belarus. Winners of the national print media competition “Golden Letter” will be honored as part of the expo. Apart from that there will also be named the winners of the nationwide competition on the best printed media retail facility, the national contest among journalists and mass media outlets. Today in Belarus there are 733 newspapers and 840 magazines. Also, there are publishing houses in all the districts of the country.
