International experts gather in Minsk to discuss future of Eastern Partnership

Today international experts will gather in Minsk to discuss the future of the Eastern Partnership. Diplomats, scholars and analysts will discuss major achievements and failures of the Eastern Partnership over the past eight years and will assess whether it has become a genuine forum for fostering the relations between the EU and its partner countries. The impact of the region’s changing geopolitics and Belarus’ peacemaking initiatives will be high on the agenda as well. The conference is expected to work out the recommendations for the Eastern Partnership summit which is due to take place in Brussels in November.
