This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at the talks with President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang. According to the President of Belarus, the countries have a great scope for further development, especially in the trade and economic sphere. Presidents ofBelarusandVietnamissued a joint statement on strengthening and comprehensive development of relations between the countries. The parties signed a program of cooperation in the economic, scientific, educational and cultural spheres, as well as a number of other documents. During the visit, contracts worth more than $ 300 million were signed.
