Belarus President went on a working trip to Slutsk District, Minsk Region. The President noted that the future of small settlements lies in the creation of processing enterprises. During the conversation with the region's leadership several topics were discussed: the salary of teachers (it’s planned to be doubled in the coming years), export of Belarusian sugar to the Chinese market, and the Year of Small Motherland, during which everyone is expected to contribute to the development and improvement of the place they were born. A special emphasis in solving the urgent problems of the region will be placed on the local Council of Deputies. Belarus’ government will further support and strengthen this institution.
