Investigation into incident with refugees launched

Brest-based investigators are looking into the incident at the Belarusian-Polish border. In the evening of May 6, two men were found by border guards in Pruzhany district. The victims are citizens of Afghanistan. According to the refugees, Polish law enforcers severely beat them during detention, and then forcibly threw them into the territory of Belarus. A total of 52 foreigners have died on the border with neighboring EU countries since 2021.
